Gloucester Fishing Rates
We are sorry to have to increase prices on our offshore Gloucester fishing charters due to skyrocketing fuel costs. We strive to balance fuel, dockage, insurance, ice, bait,
equipment and related expenses to bring you fishing at its finest at the best price possible.
All charter rates are for up to six persons
Striped Bass &/or Bluefish Fishing
Full Day - $1025 - 8 hour trip, usually 6AM to 2PM
Half-Day - $650 - 4 hours, as available throughout the day.
Striper and/or blue fishing along the rocky shore
and islands of the Cape Ann area.
No time for a full day? A 4 - 8pm charter is great way to spend a summer evening! A 6 - 10 AM charter catches the morning tide and the morning bite. We will adjust hours to suit your party as we have availbility.
Cod and Haddock Fishing
Full Day - $1400 - 9 hour trip, usually 6AM to 3PM
Marathon - $1650 -12 hours of cod fishing for $1600 ~ take advantage of extra hours on the fishing grounds while the bite is on!
Cod & Tuna Combo - $1400 - 9 hours trip, cod and bluefin tuna fishing. More is better!
Groundfishing at its best on Stellwagen Bank, Jeffries Ledge and beyond, wherever the best bite is, we'll take you there.
Giant Bluefin Tuna Fishing*
Full Day - $1400 - 9 hour trip, usually 6AM to 3PM
Marathon - $1650 -12 hours of cod fishing for $1600 ~ take advantage of extra hours on the fishing grounds while the bite is on!
Overnight - $4600 - Fish all day, fish all night, fish all day again. Two-day, overnight offshore excursion of serious bluefin tuna fishing. Weather permitting. Max of 4 persons. Not for the light of heart or stomach.
Tuna & Cod Combo - $1400 - 9 hour trip, cod and bluefin tuna fishing. More is better!
*Tuna over 73" are the boat's property due to federal
permitting.
* Charters who land a Giant Tuna (over 73 inches) may a free charter. Call us for details.
Combination Whale Watch/Cod/Tuna*/Whatever Charter
Full-Day Offshore Combo - $1400 - 9 hour trip of your design. Fun for the whole family - great fishing while enjoying private whale watch ~ keeps everyone happy!
Full-Day Inshore Combo - $975 - 8 hour trip of your design. Along the coast of Cape Ann and surrounding islands.
Half-Day Inshore Combo - $650 - 4 hour trip of your design. How about a 'round Cape Ann tour with a stop for lunch?
Whale watching, cod and haddock fishing, kite fishing for tuna or sharks - any combination of all of the above are possible on our custom charters. Call us to discuss the possibilities - we'll design a charter to meet you needs and amaze your party.

Shirts - $15 - $90. Call for availability. Great Holiday,
Birthday, or Any Occasion gifts! Mention you want
shirts or hats and we can make sure we have them ready and aboard
for your charter.
Deposits
A deposit of $700 is required for all charters
to reserve your date. This deposit non-refundable unless the
charter is canceled by the Captain due to inclement weather
and we are unable to reschedule, or unless your cancellation
is received at least two weeks prior to your charter date.
We do accept deposits via credit card ~
please call us for details. This option will instantly reserve
your date. Please do not email credit card information, for
your own security. If sending a check, please mail
deposits, made out to Tuna Hunter, to Captain Gary
Cannell, 4 Heritage Drive, Rockport, MA 01966. Note that if
reserving by check, your charter is not reserved until we
receive your check.
On the day of your charter, we accept payment by cash or personal
check. (Yes, we do take checks!). Please call us to arrange
for credit card / online payments (very easy, from our Payments page or via Square) or other payment options in advance.

Our mates work for tips, based on service
provided - a 15-20% gratuity is customary.
