| 850 lb Moriarty Giant
The Moriarty Marauders teamed up to battle and land this 850 pound giant bluefin tuna while aboard Tuna Hunter. For a bachlor party, this was a quiet charter on a beautiful day out on Stellwagon Bank. Conditions were right, all hands helped land some live bait, and patience was rewarded when this hungry giant hit.
For two full hours, the Moriarty muscle-men (we know some of them lift weights!) took turns at the rod battling a very strong, determined bluefin tuna. Originally booked as a shark charter, all were happy to have a giant bluefin take the bait, leaving no question in anyone's mind which species offers the better angling fight.
The guys went home with a bag full of tuna steaks, and will be back for a free tuna fishing charter, hopefully before the wedding!. Congratulations to the whole party, and best wishes to the groom.
